Untitled-1

Minecraft left its beta during it’s developers convention, Minecon and since then stayed on 1.0 until now.  This morning Mojang a Minecraft nnounced that would receive its first official update.  Jens Bergensten or known on Twitter as , has taken the reigns of the development of Minecraft which before hand was headed by the games creator, Markus Persson otherwise known as Notch.  Here is what the company posted on their blog regarding the update.

Below is a list of some of the added features:

- Bow Enchantments
- Golden Apple recipe
- New language translations.
- Slightly smoothed color transitions between biomes
- Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds
- Added spawn eggs to creative (the colors of the eggs even look like the mobs)
- Added world type options (currently only super-flat and default)
- Removed collision box from ladders
- Sheep eat grass and regain their wool

Plus many bug fixes!

So with that being said, I will let you get on your merry way.  Side note for those who care, due to my position at Yeousch which if you have no idea what I’m talking about you can reference my personal blog (http://biofare.org/matt) but the site will continue to post news but on a sporadic basis.
